The best way to experience our school is to see it in person. Meet our community, walk our halls, and discover what an education at St. Josephine Bakhita School can offer your child. Please fill out the form and we will reach out within 24 hours to schedule a tour and meeting with our school leaders.

Apply through FACTS

Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year remains open! Please call the school at 614-268-3030 with any questions, or begin completing the application at the link below.

When you are ready to take the next step, complete the school application through FACTS, our external admissions system.

A nonrefundable FACTS application fee is processed at the time of application.

Admissions Timeline

  • January: New Student Application Opens & Current Student re-enrollment period
  • January 29, 2026: Open House Event for all Prospective Families, 5-7 pm
  • January 31, 2026: Deadline for Applications to be "On-Time"
    • Families applying after this date will not be included in Round 1 Acceptance Review and may be placed on waitlist.
  • February: Acceptance Review
    • Families may continue to apply after January 31, but may be placed on waitlist.
  • March: Admissions Decisions made and communicated to families.
  • March 13, 2026: Families who have applied by the deadline will be notified of acceptance status via email by this date.
  • March 15, 2026: Facts Grant & Aid Applications must be completed for consideration.
  • March 23, 2026: Enrollment packet must be completed by this date by accepted families.

Admissions Decisions

Admissions decisions are communicated according to the school’s annual admissions process.

  • Round 1 of Admissions Reviews is completed during February. Accepted families are notified in March.
  • Round 2 of Admissions Reviews is ongoing, and applications are reviewed as they are received. Students may be accepted if space allows, or may be placed on a waitlist.

Welcome to St. Josephine Bakhita School

Accepted families are contacted by the school via email with a link to the enrollment packet. Enrollment packets must be completed in a timely manner to secure a student's spot in the class.

Review the policies and information families may need during the admissions process.

Eligibility

All new students are placed on a 60-day probationary period.

Tuition information and Tuition Assistance information can be found on our Tuition/Aid page. New tuition rates will be published before June 1 preceding each school year.

Incoming Kindergarten students will be notified in March of their Kindergarten Readiness appointment.

Students entering grades 1-8 will be contacted by the school office to schedule a shadow day experience and entrance testing.

Admissions Priorities

Completing the online application does not guarantee placement. Placement is depended on many factors. You will be notified to confirm placement. Applications for St. Josephine Bakhita School will be considered in the following order:

  • Children with siblings currently enrolled in St. Josephine Bakhita School
  • Catholic families attending St. Josephine Bakhita Parish
  • Catholic families attending another parish
  • Children of non-parishioners on a space available basis.
Required Documents

Online application requires current report card, current IEP (if applicable), and most recent standardized test scores (if applicable).

Once notified of acceptance, new families must upload, submit, or complete the following within seven days:

  • Copy of birth certificate
  • Copy of Catholic baptismal certificate (not needed if baptized at St. Josephine Bakhita or St Matthias Parish)
  • Online enrollment forms through FACTS Family Portal
  • Custody documentation (if applicable)
  • Immunization Record provided by the doctor with dates of all immunizations received
  • Tuition agreement completed in FACTS Tuition Management

Additionally, a physical exam is required prior to the first day of school.
